I have to admit, I love a product or product range with a good true story behind it and with Moroccanoil that is certainly the case.
When traveling in Israel Carmen Tal, the now co-founder of Morrocanoil went along to have her hair coloured at a local salon. Afterwards her hair was left badly damaged. A friend introduced her to an oil treatment; argan oil, which transformed her hair from, damaged to shiny, smooth and manageable.
From there Carmen went on to develop and share this oil treatment with people around the world. She and her husband created this amazing formula, which we know today as Morrocanoil.
Although the Moroccanoil oil treatment is their original and top seller, they have also extended the range, now offering shampoo, conditioner, styling cream, frizz control and hair masks.

The first time I used this product, I used far too much. Unknown to me, only a tiny amount is needed. After using it a couple of times, I got used to how little I actually needed to apply to my hair. My only complaint about this product is the packaging. It would be much easier if it came in a pump type tube, to control the amount that comes out each time; although perhaps I am just being too fussy.
Apply to damp hair before styling. You will notice that your hair actually dries quicker after applying a small amount of this product. I’m not certain of the science of this part but I can say I do notice my hair dries much faster when using Moroccanoil.
Your hair is left feeling super soft, smooth and shiny. It looks much healthier, like you have just had an in salon treatment and the smell is just to die for. It leaves no sticky residue, which many leave in treatments often do. Its extremely nourishing and conditioning and suitable for all hair types.
The oil treatment comes in two options; one for all hair types and another for fine and light coloured hair. Both come in two sizes; 100ml bottle and a handy travel size bottle, which is 25mls. The 25ml travel size bottle is a great way to try out the product and as you only use a tiny amount, the 25mls goes a long way (once you get over the initial shock of how little you actually need).
