People always ask me what is the best anti-ageing product. Without hesitating I always reply with “ a good SPF 30+ Moisturiser”. Prevention is always better than the cure. Like many I hate the feel of multiple products sitting on my skin throughout the day. In addition the convenience factor is always a winner too.
With all of this in mind, one of my favourite moisturisers with a build in SPF 30+ sunscreen simply has to be the ASAP Moisturiseing Daily Defence SPF 30+ It certainly ticks all the boxes as far as I’m concerned.
This top seller fly’s off the shelf for many reasons. It’s convenient and easy to use, effective as a multi use product and surprisingly cost effective.
In addition to powerful sunscreen ingredients such as Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide this product also contains the much talked about Hyaluronic Acid, which is an extremely effective anti-ageing ingredient. It increases hydration levels in the skin, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains Niacinamide, which promotes the formulation of healthy collagen fibres, improving the skins elasticity and evening out skin tone by reducing redress and blotchiness.
Apply this amazing all in one product to the face, neck and décolletage every morning to hydrate, nourish and protect your skin. As with any moisturiser but particularly one with a sunscreen, if you feel it is a little rich for you simply pat the product between your fingertips to break it up and allow it to spread more thinly and evenly on your skin.
Remember as a general rule of thumb, what we do on the face we should do on the neck too, so bring it right down onto the neck and décolletage too. And finally remember, to use a separate moisturiser at night-time; one which doesn’t contain a sunscreen.

My clients often ask me “what’s a good anti-ageing cream to buy?” I reply saying, “Invest in a good SPF 30+ to protect your skin, because prevention is always better than cure”.
I’m still amazed at how many people don’t wear any sunscreen or rely solely on what’s in their make up. You must protect your skin every day from the sun’s harmful rays. Yes even on dull days, the UV levels are quite high. Don’t be fooled by a dull, overcast day. This can be deceptive to some people, thinking only the beaming sun can cause damage.
Get into the routine in the morning of cleansing, moisturising and applying a good sun protection to your face and neck. Unless your skin is very dry, ASAP’s Moisturising Daily Defence spf 30+ will most likely be sufficient as a moisturiser and sun protection, with no need for a separate moisturiser. I hate the feel of heavy creams or lotions on my face, especially in our hot Australian climate, so this is perfect whilst not sacrificing any UVA or UVB protection.
This low oil zinc based product is suitable for all skin types and makes an excellent base for foundation. However if you are extremely oily or acne prone I think this would be a little too heavy for your.
When using any AHA or BHA based product, having advanced treatments such as Laser, IPL, Microdermabrasion, Chemical peels of similar treatments you must be extra vigilant in applying and if needs be, re-applying a good SPF 30+ to protect your skin from further damage.
After cleaning and drying the skin apply every day to the face and neck. This can also be used on the body. If you feel it’s a little too heavy on application, simply pat a small amount between your fingers before applying. This gives you a smoother and somewhat lighter application. This broad-spectrum sunscreen leaves your skin feeling smooth, soft and above all protected from the suns harmful rays.
If you like you can add a little loose mineral powder foundation to create a lightly tinted SPF 30+ moisturiser. Simply cup a small amount (only a small amount of moisturiser is needed and it spreads quite easily) of your moisturiser into your hand, tap a small amount of your loose mineral powder foundation and blend together before applying to the face and neck. Perfect for hot summer days when you just want a hint of colour.
I can be prone to breakouts and often find many SPF 30+ products sometimes make me break out, whereas with this product it wasn’t the case.
This is simply essential in your daily skincare routine, a must for anyone who walks out their door in the morning and a truly great product.

I love it for its effectiveness and how it sits on my face all day even with my fluid foundation. The only “fault” if you could call it that would be that I’d love if they brought out a tinted version, but apart from that I cannot fault this product. I have been using this face moisturiser for about six or eight months now and love it.Price Value Quality Product Effectiveness
When I first started using it, I thought it was going to be too heavy for me, but I remembered that my beautician told me to use a small amount, pat it between my hands and evenly massage onto my face and neck. A little goes a long way so it lasts a long time.
It is great to know it’s my moisturiser and SPF all in one with no need for two creams on my face. Also its very comforting to know it’s a high SPF 30+ sunblock. I have fair skin so I need it.

I have combination skin and have never been able to find a face sunscreen that doesn't make me breakout. I have struck gold with this product, I am in full sun every Saturday playing sport. I apply once in the morning and then again half way through the day and I do not get sunburn. I have not had one breakout applying this moisturiser all over my face.
